Hi friends!! Well… It’s now 3 am and I wasn’t planning on posting this tonight, but I just couldn’t contain myself any longer. I’m so excited and I can’t wait to share my entries with you for the NBUS Challenge!!! It is going on right now, right this second!! What the heck is the NBUS challenge you ask? Well, it’s this BRILLIANT challenge created by my new friend, Darnell Knaus and PERFECT for anyone wanting to get their toes wet into the world of card making challenges. Darnell makes absolutely BEAUTIFUL cards and she’s pretty entertaining as well. When you see what it is, you’ll be thinking she’s a genius for coming up with this idea!!
The best part is, the challenge is going on RIGHT NOW!! It is in full swing but unfortunately I am spending every waking moment preparing for a local craft fair that is happening this weekend so I can’t even play along until the very last day, which is Monday, September 5th!! Booooo!!!

So much has happened since my last post and I’m really excited to share it all with you, but it will have to be AFTER Labor Day weekend while I’m getting my entries ready for the NBUS Challenge. I was originally planning on just sharing my entries with you next Monday, but then I had the idea to at least share with you what it is so that you too can play along, if you’d like. If I waited until Monday to share it with you, then the challenge would almost be over and you wouldn’t have very much time to play along. So please stay tuned for next Monday when I share with you all my entries into the NBUS challenge which basically means sharing with you all of my latest cards I’ve made since my last post..

Hi again!! How did I not see this before?!!? Craft fair went well!! I love doing them. My aunt and I share a booth so it makes it even more fun. She sells knitted items and I sell my cards!! 🙂

I am trying to find time to play along as well Misty! Darnell, or Aunty Darnell to me, is one amazing person! I so glad you found her blog as she is very entertaining and a most fabulous card maker. She has coined various acronyms, like NBUS. Which is a challenge that I adore because I have so much NBUS! lol And from the looks of it I’m not alone, thank goodness! Is she really?!!? How cool is that, that you have an aunt that not only makes cards too, but also has a blog!! That to me is the cat’s meow!! I don’t know anyone locally that makes cards or blogs so you’re very lucky, my friend!! Wow, that’s just really cool!! No, you’re definitely not alone!! That’s why I think this challenge is BRILLIANT!! I also think it’s very cool that she introduces new followers to all of her followers!!
