Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone!!  I made this card for the Always Fun Challenges blog’s 2nd challenge and the theme is…  Yep!  Easter!!  I hope everyone had a great Easter.  It was beautiful here, in Northern California.  My Mom is in charge of the Easter dinner at our church so my weekend was spent mostly helping her prepare and serve our community a delicious Easter dinner.  It was also my hubby’s Birthday so not only did we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection, but we also celebrated his big day.

Ok, let’s get into this adorable card I made using Reverse Confetti’s Hippity Hoppity stamp set.  I still can’t get over how cute these images are!!  I also did a YouTube video showing how I made this card which you can get to by clicking here.

This was actually a really easy card to make.  The most time consuming was the copic coloring.  I’ll list the colors I used down below.  After I colored all my images, I fussy cut them out and decided where I wanted everything to go.   I used the Wavy Scallop Stitches border die by SSS to create my grassy area and Stitched Sentiment Strips die for my sentiment.  The polka dot paper is also from Reverse Confetti, but unfortunately it’s not available anymore.  For the white background I used We R Memory Keepers Quilted embossing folder and I absolutely LOVE how it looks.  It really is a next level embossing folder.  Once I glued everything down, I used some clear Wink of Stella on the eggs, the butterflies and also the flower.  And that was it!!  Easy peazy.

Thank you so much to those of you who are playing along over at the AFC blog.  I hope to see your entries there again this week.  And if you haven’t played along yet, please do!!  It’s open to anyone who wants to join in the fun!!  Click here to enter this weeks Easter theme challenge.  Even if you don’t have time to play along this week, you can at least check out all the inspiration from the other amazing design team members by clicking here.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Until next time….

    1. Hi Cat!! Thank you so much!! I’ve had that E.F. for quite awhile now, but I always forget about using them… I embossed this when I first got it and I just happened to see it laying on top of my scraps pile and thought it would be a nice addition. 🙂

Ummmm, You just made me realize this went live today… I was thinking it was going to go live at midnight. Well, it will be midnight in some places.. So my post doesn’t really make sense since it’s still Easter right now… I need to remember that it goes live at 10pm my time… oy vey… I’m in the process of re-uploading my YT video too because I didn’t have all the sound levels on and it left out part of my voice over… And now this!! It’s been a looooong day.. I’m going to bed after I fix all the problems I’m having… Happy Easter, dear friend. Thanks for your sweet comment!!
