Simon Says Stamp Kids Challenge

Hi guys!!  I have important information to share with you today.   Simon Says Stamp  is hosting the Summer Vacation Kid’s Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. Adults are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to ‘DO IT’ themselves as much as possible.
You can enter as many times as you like, just remember to add your link into the inlinkz system at the bottom of this post on the Simon Says Stamp blog! If you have several entries on the same post add ?1. ?2, ?3 etc at the end of the url and they will be accepted into the system.
The Design Team all love this challenge and are ready and waiting to pop over to your blog to see your creations!

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon. All winners are chosen at random, Good Luck to all!

Hello!!  Happy Sunday to you!!  I’m not used to posting on Sunday’s, but I’m super excited to share this adorable card with you made by my adopted son, Bubby.  I say adopted because we love him like he’s our own.  Bubby is 10 years old and he’s actually made quite a few cards for me.  He’s so sweet and has a huge heart.

He made this card after watching me use distress oxide inks on a card I was making.  He thought ink blending was so cool and wanted to give it a try.  I think he did a pretty darn good job for his first try!!  He used Simon Says stamp Heart of Roses die along with Seedless Preserves, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks.  The sentiment is from my stash.

I created this fun little watermark for him so now he’s official.

If you share your creation oninstagram, please add this hashtag so that we can find you #ssskidschallenge

This challenge will remain open until 6pm EST on 29th July. The winners will be drawn at random as soon as possible after the challenge closes.

Please Note: creations submitted by anyone over the age of 16 will be deleted.

Please add the age of the child after their name e.g. Daniel age 6. Emma age 3

Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you on Wednesday with the newest Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!!

  1. Wow your cad is beautiful! I love the words to that song! I also love the background with the sparkly heart on top!

  2. Wonderful card! So impressed with how awesome you did blending for the first time! (Better than mine first attempt for sure) I also LOVE the sentiment you picked. Those words are to a song my mom use to sing to me when I was your age and younger.

  3. I am partial to hearts, so I love your card, Bubby! Love the glitz you added with the glitter card and the sequins, and your ink blending looks great, too!

  4. Wonderful ink blending, Bubby! Love your color combination which is so charming. The sentiments are perfectly matched with the heart diecuts. Such a lovely card! I love how you put sequins around the card. What a perfect photo!
