STAMPtember Blog Party!!!

This is the card that I created to kick off the party.  I used the new Birthday Borders stamp set.  I had my son in mind when I was making this card because he just had a birthday last week, but it turned out a little too girly for him so I made him a different one.  I couldn’t help myself though with that adorable sentiment with hearts for letters.

This stamp set comes with a solid row of candles and also this hollow one so you can color them in yourself.  I chose to leave my uncolored since I had so much color going on in my background.

 

I just love the hearts in the “Happy Birthday To You” sentiment.  I also used the Happy Birthday Script die which was part of the Fluttering By release.  I cut it out with some Simon Says Stamp black glitter paper and offset it with a white layer.
