CAS Inking Blending and Masking

Clean and Simple

We are showcasing Hero Arts Products this week.  If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.

I’m so excited to be back in my craft room crafting the day away.  It’s been a loooong couple of weeks, that’s for sure. 

I used the stamp set called Come Fly With Me from Hero Arts for this card.  I’m in love with this stamp set.  I love the images, I love the sentiments, it’s a really great stamp set.  

 

I used SSS masking paper to mask off the section I wanted to keep white. Then I ink blended Hot Mama, Teeny Bikini, Melon and Maliblue. Then I used my mini Misti to stamp the feather image several times to get a nice crisp black image. Next I stamped this dreamy sentiment using the same Intense Black ink by SSS.

I attached a piece of black card stock to my card base using Tombow Mono liquid adhesive, and then I glued on my card front. I left a very thin border of the black card stock showing. Lastly I added a few jewels by Pretty Pink Posh in Metallic Silver.
