I chose to use the Monster Love stamp set by Concord & 9th for this week’s challenge because I love how adorable this monster is.
Hey there!! I just wrapped up part II of my two part series on how to use Evernote for stamps and dies inventory. There’s a couple different ways to do the same thing so I thought it would be best to shoot two separate videos so it wouldn’t get too overwhelming and confusing. Evernote is REALLY easy to use, once you get the hang of it. And you can definitely get the hang of it.
There’s a couple ways to get Evernote. I use only Apple products so I can only speak of what I know. To get Evernote on an iPhone or iPad, just go to the App Store and search for Evernote. To get the Evernote app on your computer, just do the same thing, head to the app store and download it.
You can also access Evernote by going to Evernote.com. I don’t use evernote.com very often and it’s only because I started on my phone and moved on to the app on my computer and I just haven’t had any reason to use the .com.
It’s a free app. You can set up an account once you add the app to your mobile device or you can go to evernote.com to set up a new account. Depending on how much you use Evernote, the free version may be all you need. I used the free version for many years. Once I started using it for EVERYTHING, I now pay a monthly fee of $7 I think. That gives me more storage space. But check out the website for the different prices.
If you’ve never used Evernote before, I’d start out with the free version and see how you like it. That’s what I did. If you love it like I do, then you might want to upgrade so that you can inventory as much and as many supplies as you’d like.
I’m going to add both videos here, I hope they make sense to you. If you have any questions, let me know and I’ll try my best to answer them. Evernote also has a YouTube channel which shows you sooo many different ways to use the app.

Spring Mood Board
Ok, how flippin CUUUTE is this mood board?!? It gives me the feels just looking at all this adorable-ness.
I don’t have any new baby cards in my stash so I went in a different directions that I had originally planned. I thought I was going to use the Four Seasons Sayings stamp set and die for this challenge but as I was sitting down to start creating, I veered off course and landed on this neutral baby themed card.
I colored my images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. For the mama bunny I use Brick Beige and for the baby I used Warm Gray 2. I colored the insides of their ears and cheeks and baby’s sweet little feet with Pale Pink. I used Yellow for the chick and bow. Then I fussy cut my images.
I needed something to stamp the sentiments on since I couldn’t stamp them over the top of the heat embossed background so I dug through my dies and found this older die by MFT called Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stax die which fit my images just perfectly. Using my Mini Misti I stamped my sentiments above and below where I wanted my bunnies to go.
Hi friends!! There’s a brand new release at Simon Says Stamp called Blossoms and Butterflies. Just the name alone told me I was going to love it! And I do!! Check it out!
The first image will take you right to the new release. Or you can click on each individual item. Which ones are your favorite? I honestly can’t decide because I want it all!! SSS does such a fantastic job with their new releases. I always want the entire release!! But wanting and actually getting are two different things so my Wishlist will grow once again….

This challenge was pretty easy for me since I don’t really use designer paper that often. However, I STILL haven’t decided which version I like best. I often ask my hubs and son for their input and sometimes I’ll even pull my Mom into it. Well I pulled all 3 of them into it this week. I asked them which version they like best, black on white sentiment or white on black.
Option AOption B
My Mom liked one, my hubby liked the other and my son keeps changing his answer every time I ask him… So I decided to create a poll on Instgram and ask the same question. I’ve never done a poll so I thought it would be fun! Which version do YOU like best? A or B? Please let me know by commenting below or jump over to my IG account and cast your vote there.
I had a lot of fun making this card. I love Picket Fence stamps and stencils. I decided to create my own background using a stencil and some Distress Oxide inks. But before that, I stamped the beautiful Madelyn image (by Picket Fence) using Lawn Fawn’s Manatee dye ink so I’d know where to mask. I knew I wanted to heat emboss her but I thought it might cause an issue to mask if I heat embossed her first. So I just stamped her using a gray ink, masked her and then created my background. I took a stencil from my stash and ink blended Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves and Spun Sugar distress oxide inks on Bristol Smooth card stock.
This is where I got stuck with the sentiment. I originally heat embossed the sentiment from the Exhale Worry stamp set with black embossing powder. But then I worried that it kind of got lost in the background. So then I stamped the sentiment again on black card stock and heat set it with white embossing powder. Then I couldn’t decide which one I liked better.
To finish it off, I popped the front panel up on some craft foam and adhered it to a black card base. I added a couple Onyx Crystals from Studio Katia as an embellishment.
I would LOVE to hear which one you like better. Black on white or white on black? Please comment below of jump over to my IG today and let me know!!

Hello Bluebird has made it’s way into my top favorite companies. I just love their stamp sets. I didn’t do a video this week because it was basically just all coloring, but I will have a new video on how I’m storing my dies.
I heat embossed the sentiment with Platinum embossing powder. I used an old watercolor sheet for the frame that I’ve had in my stash for quite some time now and just recently found while cleaning out my craft room. Then I just started putting everything together.
To finish it off, I added some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen in clear to the flowers, noses and eggs and then using foam squares, I lifted the butterfly in the top left corner and also the heart that little Mr. Piggy is carrying.
Hi crafty friends! Today I’d like to share with you how I store my dies. I just recently switched to this system as I’m updating my craft room, but I’ve been using this method for my lesser used dies for awhile now and it’s been working so I’m switching them all over to this. I’m getting rid of a tall cabinet that housed my most used dies so I had to come up with another system. This is the cabinet I was using and I loved it, but it doesn’t work in my new space.
