It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! No, I’m not talking about Christmas (although that is the other most wonderful time of the year), I’m talking about STAMPTEMBER!!! And boy, do we have A LOT to share with you. There’s SO MUCH happening this month, my head is spinning, but all awesome stuff, of course. To start off, I’d like to share a few of the projects I made with this stamp set called Because of You. You can view the ENTIRE release by CLICKING HERE.
I hope you like what I made. I had fun making them. This is a cool stamp set that I can see myself using over and over. In fact, I just may have a few more up my sleeve but you’ll have to wait and see!!
We are showcasing Gina K Designs Products this week. If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.

Then I used my brand new Misti 2.0 and I stamped out all of the images except for the moon. I stamped them all using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. My sentiment is from the Sketched Flowers clear stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. After I stamped the largest fairy, I sprinkled some Brutus Monroe Raven Embossing Powder to give her this beautiful sparkly silhouette. I masked off the wings though because I didn’t want the extra bulk.
I then stamped just the fairy wings onto a piece of Holographic Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp and fussy cut them out. I attached them to my fairy using Gina K Connect Glue.
We are showcasing Picket Fence Studios Products this week. If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.

The card I made for this week’s challenge was a lot of fun. I love this image by Picket Fence Studios. It’s called Artist Dear and it comes with an adorable little dog, but I decided to keep this one nice and simple.
I enjoyed coloring this gal’s hair purple. I thought it was just what she needed and it matches my purple background beautifully! I colored her with copic markers and cut her out using my Brother Scan N Cut (CM350).
When I put my artist gal image against the Bristol Smooth card stock, I realized that the X-Press It Blending Card that I used to Copic Color my gal on, was a completely different color white than the Bristol Smooth card stock. I should have known that before I even started but it just didn’t register yet. The X-Press It is much whiter and it was very noticeable so I traded the Bristol Smooth in for some 80 lb. Neenah Solar White Card Stock. It definitely blends quite a bit different, in my opinion but it still turned out pretty nice. I don’t usually ink blend on anything but Bristol Smooth, but for this card, I made an exception. Below is a picture of the difference. The one on the left is the Neenah Solar White and the one on the right is the Bristol Smooth Card Stock. The Bristol is such a smoother blend. Can you tell the difference? I cut the stenciled layer down to 3.75″ X 5″.
I added some foam squares to the back of my beautiful artist and added everything to a purple background. My sentiment is from the stamp set called Exhale Worry by Picket Fence Studios. I thought this sentiment was perfect for this image. She’s got her eyes closed as if to say she’s trusting herself.
I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card stock that I cut down with the Sentiment Labels die by Simon Says Stamp. I thought it would be fun to offset the stenciled layer just a bit so that you could see a little bit more of the purple background. To finish off my little artist, I covered her hair with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen and added white polka dots to her leggings with a white gel pen.
We are showcasing Memory Box Products this week. If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.

These Memory Box dies are so fun to use, I had never used them before so I thought they’d be perfect for this challenge!!
Once I had all of my layers cut out, I thought this would look really cool with some dimension so I added craft foam to 2 of the layers but left the top layer foam free so that it wouldn’t start to get too bulky. At this time I thought a shaker card would be fun so I also added some acetate. I had to add a couple of fish so I colored a few from Lawn Fawn’s Finastic Friends stamp set with my copic markers. I used two layers of acetate so that I could glue my fish on one layer to make them look like they were floating in the water. Behind that back layer of acetate is where I put my shaker bits. I used several different types of sequins which I’ve linked below.
To finish off my card, I added a few Iridescent Bubbles by Studio Katia over some of the heat embossed bubbles and also a few just on my card front to tie everything together. For a step by step tutorial, please watch my video above or head over to my YouTube channel.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!!

What’s your favorite craft tool? Is it your paper trimmer? Your die cutting machine? How about Distress Oxide inks? Well, those are my 3 favorite tools. I simply could not narrow it down any narrower. I’d love to hear what your favorite tool is. In fact, let me know what your favorite tool is and I’ll randomly select a winner to win 5 distress ink pads. I have 2 distress oxides and 3 distress ink pads to give away. All full size!! I’ll announce the winner in next week’s post.
Do anyone struggle with patterned paper like I do? I love it. I have tons of it. But I rarely use it on a card. I like to keep things pretty simple and patterned paper just seems so over powering sometimes. So busy. Yet I see people use it all the time and make it work beautifully. I can’t do that for whatever reason. So when I thought about using the Baubles Layering Shifter Stencil by Tim Holtz to create my own background, I thought in a way, I’m creating my own patterned paper!! No need to be intimidated by it. Yes I said it. Patterned paper intimidates me. Unless I create it myself…
Check out my video above if you’d like to see a detailed tutorial of how I created this background. It was super easy and super quick to create.
I thought the background looked better going horizontally with the sentiment that I chose. I used the Proud of You wafer die by CZ Design. I chose this one because I hadn’t used this die yet and I don’t have any cards like this in my stash. Plus I wanted a sentiment with a shadow die so that I could use black and white card stock to really make it pop off of this colorful background.
I thought it needed a little something extra so I used one of my all time favorite dies from the Frames die set by Simon Says Stamp. I cut it out using black card stock. To bring it all together, I cut my background piece down to 4″ x 5.25″ and attached a piece of white craft foam to the back. Then I adhered it to a piece of black card stock cut to 4.25″ x 5.5″ aka US A2 size. I attached my whole card front to a top folding A2 size white card base.
To finish off my design, I added a few Metallic Silver Jewels by Pretty Pink Posh and then I was done!
Don’t forget to leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite craft tool is and I’ll randomly select someone to win 5 distress ink pads!!I’ll announce the winner in next week’s post.
