Hello crafty friends!! Please join me for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week the challenge is
Anything Goes
We are showcasing Gina K Designs Products this week. If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.
As always, the generous folks at Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to one randomly selected winner to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store. You can enter 5 times which means you can make 5 different projects following this week’s prompt and have 5 chances to win a shopping spree!! Sounds like a win/win to me!! I’ve linked all of the supplies that I used at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

I have to say that I am in love with this stamp set!! There are so many fun images to play with and I can’t wait to use it again. This is the Enchanted Forest clear stamp set by Gina K Designs.

I started my card out on a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock and I ink blended distress oxide inks. I started with Antique Linen, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and ended with Black Soot.

Then I used my brand new Misti 2.0 and I stamped out all of the images except for the moon. I stamped them all using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. My sentiment is from the Sketched Flowers clear stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. After I stamped the largest fairy, I sprinkled some Brutus Monroe Raven Embossing Powder to give her this beautiful sparkly silhouette. I masked off the wings though because I didn’t want the extra bulk.

I then stamped just the fairy wings onto a piece of Holographic Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp and fussy cut them out. I attached them to my fairy using Gina K Connect Glue.

I prepped my background to emboss the moon using Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder.

After all of the images were stamped and heat embossed, I used Lawn Fawn’s Liquid Stardust and White Gouache with my Distress Splatter brush to add some stars. I used the Wonky Rectangles die by Simon Says Stamp to cut out my card front and attached it to an A2 sized Onyx Black Pearlescent Card Stock. I attached it all to a top folding black card base. To finish it off, I added a few silver stars from Itty Bitty Stars Silver Sparkly Shaker Mix by Lucy’s Cards.

So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!!
