Hello crafty friends!! Please join me for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week the challenge is
Fall Colors
We are showcasing Colorado Craft Co. Products this week. If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.
As always, the generous folks at Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to one randomly selected winner to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store. You can enter 5 times which means you can make 5 different projects following this week’s prompt and have 5 chances to win a shopping spree!! Sounds like a win/win to me!! I’ve linked all of the supplies that I used at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

Our challenge is Fall Colors and we had this gorgeous mood board to inspire us.

I LOVE the aqua and the violet in the mood board combined with the oranges, it’s just gorgeous!

The stamp set that I used is so adorable!! It’s called Gnome Home by Colorado Craft Co. This card is pretty self explanatory but I’ll just break it down quickly.

I colored the images with my copic markers. The mood board for this challenge was so much fun. I love the traditional fall colors with that beautiful pop of teal or aqua. I had fun with this challenge because I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen these particular colors, if it weren’t for the mood board so it kinda pushed me out of my comfort zone.

I cut my images out with the coordinating dies and set them aside.

I used the Grassy Edges stencil by Simon Says Stamp and ink blended a grassy border right on my card base. I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness distress oxide inks.

I used the Mini Cloud Edges stencil by MFT to create a little sky with Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink. I wanted to get as much aqua in my scene as I could since that’s my favorite color.

I decided to add a turquoise border as well just to add more of that beautiful color. I used the largest Stitched Rectangle Frame from Lawn Fawn for my frame. I die cut it three times and layered them to frame in my scene.

I used one of the sentiments from the same stamp set and then I adhered everything to my top folding card base. I also popped up the little gnome a bit with a few 3D Foam Squares to add a little dimension. To add some sparkle, I went over all of the violet areas with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!!
