Fun With Stencils

Hello again!! It’s time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  This week the challenge is

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Gina K Designs Products this week.  If you have any of these products, we’d love to see them used, but it’s certainly not a requirement to join the challenge.

As always, the generous folks at Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to one randomly selected winner to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store.  You can enter 5 times which means you can make 5 different projects following this week’s prompt and have 5 chances to win a shopping spree!! Sounds like a win/win to me!! I’ve linked all of the supplies that I used at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

I had fun channeling my inner Rina K for these cards. I did the same process on all 4 cards. I used Rina K inks and I ink blended them onto a piece of Neenah 110 lb. card stock.

I put the Gina K Water Droplets Stencil over my ink blended background and then I went over the entire stencil with Gina K Black Onxy Premium Die Ink. And what a beautiful design it creates!! I cut the panel down using a Stitched Rectangles die and I attached it to a side folding card base. I used the CZ Design Thanks Die and I cut the top layer out three times so give it a little dimension. The top layer is Glossy Black Card Stock and the lower 2 layers I just used black card stock. I used a few Silver Pearls as an embellishment to finish it off.

For this design I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry for a not so bright look. I created the background the same as above. I used the Happy Birthday Brush Script die by Simon Says Stamp.

For my next card I used the Sun Spots Stencil by Gina K. I used the same neon inks and the same Thanks die and my sub-sentiment is from the Big Thanks Words Stamp Set by Simon.

These pictures don’t do the cards justice but they are so bright and vibrant in person.

For this final card I ink blended Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. I used the Sun Spots Stencil again and the same Thanks die. I trimmed my panel down using the Stitched Rectangles Die and I attached it to an A2 size Glossy Black background.

So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!!
